Our half and full day workshops will take place at regular intervals throughout the year.
General workshops are suitable for students with some yoga experience who would like to explore postures in more depth. Intermediate workshops are aimed at students with at least 6 months’ yoga experience who would like to work on more advanced asanas and finer instructions within a longer session.
For 2020 we planned some restorative and pranayama classes which were suspended from March 2020. As we build our reopening programme we will consider re-establishing our Sunday classes and weekend workshops if there is enough interest and these are considered viable given limitations on numbers. Please get in touch with the studio if this would be of interest to you.
Workshop with Alan Brown
Due to Covid restrictions the planned workshop with Alan Brown on 14th June 2020 had to be cancelled. For our students this was intended to be a fabulous opportunity to be taught by a senior and very experienced Iyengar teacher so we hope to be able to reschedule a workshop with Alan at some point in the future.
Alan has practised Iyengar Yoga since 1979 and been an Iyengar Yoga teacher since 1987. He holds a Senior Intermediate Level 3 Iyengar Yoga teaching certificate and teaches regular yoga classes for all levels of practitioner from beginners to experienced in Yorkshire and Lancashire and also in the Department of the Aude in the South of France.
Alan also teaches day and weekend workshops as well as longer intensive training courses for yoga practitioners and yoga teachers nationally and internationally.
Alan feels extremely privileged to have received tuition from BKS Iyengar, Geeta Iyengar and Prashant Iyengar on numerous occasions.
We will let students know if and when we can reschedule this event.
