Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Courses
Our Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Workshops and Courses are a brilliant starting point if you are new to the Iyengar method.
Taught in small groups by our experienced yoga teachers, you will learn the basic postures and principles.

This term, conscious of the difficulty people find in making a regular time commitment over a 4 or 6 week course, we will be running an Introductory Sunday workshop that will cover the basic Introductory poses. We are also running some free taster classes on the 9th, 10th, 11th September to give you a flavour of our yoga classes.
All yoga equipment is provided, though some students prefer to bring their own.
Wear clothes that allow you to move freely. Shorts or leggings and a T-shirt are ideal. Avoid anything baggy or too long. Yoga is always practised in bare feet.
Yoga should be practised on an empty stomach, so leave at least four hours after a main meal, or one hour after a light snack. It is not advised to drink during class so water bottles are not allowed in the yoga studio. Free drinking water is always available at the studio for those who need it.
